General Description
Under the supervision of the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will work to implement and maintain the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. As required, oversee, direct, and insure agency and program compliance and accountability for mental health/mental retardation services and substance abuse along with applicable federal, state, and local laws, Medicaid/Medicare billing, licensing, agency policy and procedures, contracts and all other regulations, requirements, and standards. Serve as an external presence and spokesperson to strengthen current funding, to explore the development of new and more diverse sources of revenue. To represent the CFLR vision, mission, and purpose, and to raise the visibility of CFLR in the community. The CEO should also give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization’s philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives
Qualifications
Advanced degree (MPH, MSW, MBA, and PhD. or similar) in mental health, health care, psychology, social work, education, administration/policy, business, or related field preferred. Mental health professional helpful. A minimum of five years executive management experience with a non profit organization, hospital or business is required. Strong written, verbal, and listening, communication skills, including formal and extemporaneous presentation to a wide-ranging public with strong skills in organization, planning, and time management. If selected for this position, CEO must give CFLR authorization to request copy of driving record as well as all required prescreens and background checks. Must be able to pass required staff development training.

General Description
Under the general supervision of the Early Childhood Intervention Program Supervisor, the Rehab Teacher/ Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to help children improve speech and language skills. The Rehab Teacher/SLPA will participate as the active Service Coordinator (Case Manager) for each referral to the program until the time of admission. The Rehab Teacher/SLPA will be responsible for an individual caseload of clients’ ages 0-3. Caseload responsibilities include screening, providing special instruction to children with developmental delays and/or medical conditions that might result in developmental delays and service coordination to the children assigned to his/her caseload. Employee should demonstrate dedication to public service, commitment to excellence in service delivery, personal integrity and recognition of the individual worth and common needs of all people. Work schedule may require flexibility and the use of a Center vehicle to travel within a 7 county catchment area.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in speech/language pathology (SLPA) is required. Bilingual speaking (Spanish) is a plus. Knowledge of child development and experience working with young children and families is preferred. Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License with driving record to comply with Center for Life Resources policy. If selected, must give Center authorization to send for copy of driving record.

General Description
Under the general supervision of the Early Childhood Coordinator, and with considerable latitude for independent judgment, the Speech-Language Pathologist provides speech therapy and special instruction to children with developmental delays and/or medical conditions that might result in developmental delays. The Speech Language Pathologist provides service coordination to the children assigned to his/her caseload. He/she is responsible for coordinating all services with the program and across agency lines. Primary responsibilities include screening, performing developmental assessments, speech evaluations, Assistive Technology Evaluations, and participation in Individual Family Service Plan Meetings.
Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Education Program is required. Must possess a current license from the Texas Board of Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with young children with developmental delays/medical conditions, and their families preferred. Specialized skills in speech evaluation, Assistive Technology, evaluation and implementation required. Must be able to deal with all types of persons including individuals, families, and groups of all socio-economic levels. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. A valid Texas driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with Center for Life Resources policies. If chosen for position, must provide CFLR with authorization to send for copy of driving record. Must be able to complete required staff training.
